2000 Ford F150 Door Locks Not Working

I just inherited my fathers 2000 ford f150.

The door panel will need to be removed. If you folks have ever watched one of my videos and it s helped you please email lanny owner of accurate engines and let him know that you would consider. Specifically when i press the button to unlock or lock the doors the locks don t respond either way. Read that it might be an actuator problem not sure i can fix this.

Is that the most logical thing or is there something else i can try first. I bet the noise kind of sounds like a humming grinding noise in the doors as you watch the door lock just vibrate. The lock actuators are not hard to replace they are inside the door. The electric part of the locks do not work.

When pushing either left or right door button there is a click in t read more. Most likely the door lock actuators have failed this is not uncommon for both to fail at the same time. Its a real hassel. Checked the batteries in the key fobs checked the fuses checked the car battery.
